Local Licensed Rinjani Trekking Guides & Porters

We are committed to our mission of developing the local economy through the tourism industry here in Mount Rinjani National Park. Our experienced trekking guides and porters are primarily hired from the local villages of Sembalun, Senaru, and Tetebatu.
We believe that hiring local experts from the foothills of the Rinjani volcano provides a more authentic experience rooted in local culture, while also guaranteeing your safety during your adventure. Our native guides and porters share their deep knowledge with the younger generation to ensure you receive the same sustainable, high-quality service that our previous clients have come to love.
When trekking with Muji Trekker, groups of 1–5 people will be led by one of our experienced Rinjani guides. For solo trekkers, we provide two porters. For larger groups, the number of porters will scale according to the number of participants. Please note that clients booking our V.I.P. Package will receive one extra porter for personal belongings (up to a maximum of 20kg)
