Embark on an unforgettable one-day medium trekking adventure in Lombok, where you’ll summit Gunung Sempana the second-highest peak among the Sembalun Seven Summits, rising to 2,329 meters above sea level. This scenic trek rewards you with expansive savannas, Stunning views of Mount Rinjani, Panoramic vistas of the Sembalun Valley, framed by the ancient caldera of the Sembalun volcano.  This trek requires a good level of fitness, as it involves approximately 4–5 hours of hiking to the summit, followed by 3–4 hours descending back to the starting point. The trek begins and ends in Sembalun Village, located at 1,200 meters above sea level. We highly recommend spending one night in Sembalun Village before your trek to rest, prepare, and conserve energy for the journey ahead.

Pickup & Briefing
Your adventure begins with a 06:00 AM pickup from your accommodation in Lombok. You’ll be transferred to our office in Sembalun, where you’ll meet your guide and porter team. After a short trek briefing, the hike officially begins at 09:00 AM.

Medium Trekking Gunung Sempana – Lombok Island

Join us for a flexible Gunung Sempana that we’ll tailor to your interests. Whether you’re in Senggigi, Kuta, or anywhere else in Lombok, we can arrange this one-day adventure just for you.

05:00 AM – 08:00 AM Pick-up from your hotel anywhere in Lombok. Then drive to Sembalun Village takes approximately 2 hours, depending on your location.

08:00 AM – 08:10 AM Meet your guide at our office in Sembalun. You’ll receive a short briefing about the trek and safety procedures.

08:10 AM – 08:30 AM Transfer by car with our team to the Gunung Sempana trekking gate.

08:30 AM – 11:30 AM Begin your hike to the summit of Gunung Sempana. The ascent takes approximately 3–4 hours through jungle and savanna terrain.

11:30 AM – 01:00 PM Lunch break at the peak. Enjoy a meal served by your guide while taking in panoramic views of Mount Rinjani and the surrounding landscape.

01:00 PM – 04:00 PM Descend back to the trekking gate and meet up with our driver.

04:00 PM – 07:00 PM Return transfer to your hotel or drop-off at your next destination in Lombok.

07:00 PM Trip ends.
