This gentle hike takes you through the serene savannas of Kanji and Dandaun, and up to Gunung Telaga, revealing a tapestry of wildflowers—including native orchids—along the jungle trails. Wake up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and rustling leaves, and witness the unique local tradition of calling cattle with salty water in the Kanji savanna.

Pickup & Briefing
Your adventure begins with a 07:00 AM pickup from your accommodation in Lombok. You’ll be transferred to our office in Sembalun, where you’ll meet your guide and porter team. After a short trek briefing, the hike officially begins at 10:00 AM.

The itinerary and driving durations can be change depending on where you are staying before trekking. We serve this trip from all over Lombok island, we will pick you up and drop you back from/to your hotel in Lombok. If you are already in Sembalun, 20% Discount for not included the transport service (Meeting Point Sembalun Village or Already in Sembalun Village).
DAY 1
Hotel – Sembalun – Savana Dandaun & Bukit Telaga
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Lombok. Our driver will take you on a scenic 3-hour drive to Sembalun Village, nestled at the foot of Mount Rinjani. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your guide and porter team at our basecamp for a short trek briefing. From there, a 10-minute ride in an open vehicle brings you to the trailhead. The trek to Savana Kanji takes approximately 4–5 hours, including a lunch break along the way. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you ascend through lush greenery and open savannas. DAY 2
Savanna Dandaun & Bukit Telaga- Sembalun – Hotel
Wake up to the tranquil sounds of nature and birdsong. Enjoy a warm drink and a freshly prepared breakfast served by our team before continuing your journey. The trail leads through jungle paths toward Savana Dandaun, where lunch will be served amidst the wildflowers. Afterward, hike up to Gunung Telaga, a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramas of the Sembalun Valley, framed by the ancient caldera walls of the Sembalun volcano. On clear days, you’ll witness the valley’s iconic patchwork of colorful rice fields—a true highlight of the trek.
The duration can be adjusted to suit your preferences. Our team is available to assist you until the evening.

Inclusions
- English-speaking guide: Our professional guide will accompany and explain you more about the adventure, and 1 – 4 people will be guide by 1 professional guide
- Experienced porter: Our local porter will take care of your meals, cook, set up tents, and carry all camping equipment, foods up to the mountain, and will always make sure to set up your tent, and has delicious meals during the trekking
- Camping equipment: Tent 2 people in one tent, A warmest sleeping bag for each person, a sponge mattress for each person, a sponge pillow for each person, toilet tent, a mountain chair for each person, and table.
- Gn. Anak Dara Permit: One person will get one permit which is we will issued upon the advance payment made
- Food & beverages (B,L,D): Our team will serve your 3 times meals per day including Appetizer, Main course, Desserts, Hot and Cold Drinks within the hike
- Private Transport Services: We cover your two times private transport service all over Lombok island upon arrival and after trekking
- One time lunch on the trekking date: The trekking will be began at 14:00pm, then we cover your one time lunch at office Darleen’s Cafe & Resto
