Mount Rinjani Climbing Itinerary
This Mount Rinjani trekking tour itinerary applies to those customers who spend one night before trekking at the Rinjani Trekking Center, Sembalun Village, Senaru Village, or Tetebatu Village. But if you are staying at another place in Lombok, we will customize your trekking tour itineraries to suit your interests. Feel free to let us know; we are delighted to assist you.
DAY 0 : Arrival – Timbanuh Village 800m
Our driver will pick you up wherever your arrival location is on the island of Lombok, both at the airport and at the port. Then, our driver will take you to Tetebatu, “Mount Rinjani Climbing Center,” for hotel check-in. On the second day, our guide will visit your hotel to give a briefing about climbing.
DAY 1 : Timbanuh – Campsite 2,781m & 2,959m
Our team will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and take you for a health check-up as a registration requirement. Then head to the Mount Rinjani National Park office to register. Once you register, they will transfer you to either the area boundary or the Mount Rinjani climbing gate. Begin the ascent from the South Pelawangan entrance, situated 2439 m above sea level, and proceed to the “Camping Area” for a duration of approximately 8 (eight) hours, which includes rest and meals.
DAY 2 : Campsite – Summit 3,171m or 3,573m – Timbanuh 800m
At 3:00 am in the morning, our team will wake you up to prepare for climbing the southern peak of Mount Rinjani, 3,500 m above sea level, with our guide. Our porters will serve you a light breakfast before the climb. After reaching the summit of Rinjani, return to the campsite, and our porter will serve your second breakfast. After resting and preparing to continue the journey back to Timbanuh Village for approximately seven (seven) hours of travel, our driver will take you to your next destination on Lombok Island.
