The Most Exciting Mount Rinjani Volcano Trekking Tour 4 Days – 3 Nights Trekking

Experience the incredible Mount Rinjani Volcano Trekking Tour Lombok Package for 3 nights or 4 days, offering a more relaxing experience. The main Rinjani trekking center, Sembalun village, at 1200 m above sea level, is the starting point for the trek, which concludes at Torean village at 650 m. On this trip, you will spend one night in Sembalun village or another place in Lombok, and three nights in a tent on the mountain. Spend your first night at Pelawangan Sembalun (Sembalun Crater Rim 2639 m), hike to Mount Rinjani summit early in the morning, and descend to Lake 2010 m. Spend the second night at the lake, where you can fish and admire the stunning crater lake and baby volcano (Gunung Baru). Enjoy the relaxing hot springs around the lake, which takes approximately 10 minutes from the campsite. On the third day, you will gradually descend into the jungle near Torean village, where you will spend your final night. MOUNT RINJANI VOLCANO TREKKING OVERVIEW

On the first day, hike through the beautiful wide savanna, taking in the open views of the Sembalun valley and witnessing the stunning ancient caldera of Sembalun. Along the way up to the campsite Sembalun Crater Rim, which rises to 2639 m above sea level, you can witness the stunning sunrise and sunset. Our team will wake you up at 02:30am on the second day of the trek, preparing you for the summit trek at 3726 m above sea level, the highest point of West Nusa Tenggar, Mt. Rinjani Summit, from which you will have a panoramic view of Lombok. You may be able to see Mt. Agung in Bali, Mount Tambora on Sumbawa Island, and, of course, the incredible crater lake along the way up and down the summit trek. On the final day of the trek, you can explore the lake, hot springs, and hidden beauty of the Torean trekking route. This Rinjani trekking program allows you to do so.

Mount Rinjani Volcano Trekking Itinerary

This Mount Rinjani trekking tour itinerary applies to those customers who spend one night before trekking at the Rinjani Trekking Center, Sembalun Village, Senaru Village, or Tetebatu Village. But if you are staying in the other place in Lombok, we will adjust your trekking tour itineraries to suit your interests. Feel free to let us know; we are delighted to assist you.

DAY 0

Arrival – Sembalun

You will be picked up by our driver on your arrival date, anywhere in Lombok, and transferred to Sembalun Village (1,200m), the Mount Rinjani Trekking Center. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, depending on your pickup location. Upon arrival in Sembalun, you will meet your guide at our office for a briefing about the trek scheduled for the following day. After the briefing, our driver will drop you off at the hotel we have arranged for you in Sembalun. Enjoy your free time.

DAY 1

Sembalun – Crater Rim (Campsite)

You will be picked up by our team at 07:00 AM from your hotel after breakfast. First, we’ll take you to the Mount Rinjani National Park office for registration. Then, we’ll drive to the trekking gate at Bukit Tiga, which takes approximately 20 minutes. From there, the trek begins through wide savannas toward POS 1 (about 1 hour), POS 2 (about 45 minutes), and POS 3, where we’ll stop for a lunch break (approximately 1.5 hours). After lunch, we continue the ascent to the Sembalun Crater Rim campsite at 2,639 meters, which takes around 3 hours. Enjoy your free time at the campsite.

DAY 2

Crater Rim – Summit – Lake

On the second day of the trek, our team will wake you at 02:30 AM to prepare for the summit climb, which begins at 03:00 AM. A light breakfast will be served before you start the ascent—approximately a 3-hour hike to the summit. After enjoying the breathtaking views from the top, you’ll descend back to the campsite in about 2.5 hours, where your second breakfast will be served. From there, the journey continues with a 4-hour trek down to the lake campsite. Lunch will be provided along the way. Enjoy your free time at the lake, where you’ll spend your second night.

DAY 3

Lake – Pelawang Torean/Propok Torean

On the third day of the trek, continue the journey down to Pelawangan Torean, a 4–5 hour descent from the campsite through the stunning Jurassic landscape. Enjoy your free time upon arrival at the campsite.

DAY 4

Pelawangan Torean – Torean

On the final day of the trek, continue the descent to Torean Village—approximately a 4–5 hour journey from the campsite through the stunning Jurassic landscape and lush Torean jungles. Along the way, you’ll pass the beautiful Penimbungan Waterfall. Upon arrival in Torean Village, our driver will be ready to transfer you to your next destination in Lombok. Your trip concludes here.

  • Premium National Park Insurance Rp. 290,000/person (You have to take this National Park Inbound Insurance if your Travel insurance doesn’t cover helicopter Rescue)
  • Flight or boat tickets: Please ensure you book your own flight or boat tickets.
  • Personal needs & expenses: Covers additional costs beyond the included package.

If you wish to do the mount Rinjani trekking, make sure that you have done a small hiking or even advance adventure, and make sure you have travel insurance as we don’t provide your travel insurance. Once you have confirm your tour package, we will require your passport to process the Mt. Rinjani National Park Tickets
