Explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Lombok on a 2-day, 1-night hiking and camping adventure at the foothills of Mount Rinjani National Park. This gentle trek is perfect for families and nature lovers, allowing you to set your own pace and even bring children along for the experience. The trail leads to Gunung Kondo, which rises to 1,923 meters above sea level, passing through lush jungle and open savannas. Along the way, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of Mount Rinjani and its surrounding landscapes. This hiking and camping begins and ends in Sembalun Village (1,200 meters above sea level). We recommend spending a night in Sembalun before your trek to explore the valley’s rich farming culture and scenic beauty. Alternatively, you may stay in another part of Lombok before joining the hike.

Pickup & Briefing
Your adventure begins with a 09:00 AM pickup from your accommodation in Lombok. You’ll be transferred to our office in Sembalun, where you’ll meet your guide and porter team. After a short trek briefing, the hike officially begins at 02:00 PM.
Gunung Kondo Hiking & Camping Lombok Itinerary
The itinerary and driving durations can be change depending on where you are staying before trekking. We serve this trip from all over Lombok island, we will pick you up and drop you back from/to your hotel in Lombok. If you are already in Sembalun, 15% Discount for not included the transport service.
DAY 1
Hotel – Sembalun – Gn. Kondo
On the first day, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Sembalun Village (1,200 meters above sea level). The drive takes up to 3 hours from most central tourist areas in Lombok, and less than 2 hours depending on your location. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your guide and porterat our Sembalun office. From there, we’ll drive about 20 minutes to the trekking center, where your hike begins. The trek to Gunung Kondo Peak takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through lush jungle and scenic landscapes. Lunch and rest breaks are included along the way. Upon reaching the campsite, enjoy a stunning sunset followed by dinner prepared by our team. (Overnight at Gunung Kondo Camp)
DAY 2
Gn. Kondo – Sembalun – Hotel
Wake up at 06:00 AMto witness a breathtaking sunrise, accompanied by hot drinks served by our team. After breakfast, begin your descent via the same trail, which takes approximately 3–4 hours. Once back in Sembalun, our driver will be ready to transfer you to your next destination or return you to your hotel in Lombok.

- English-speaking guide: Our professional guide will accompany and explain you more about the adventure, and 1 – 4 people will be guide by 1 professional guide
- Experienced porter: Our local porter will take care of your meals, cook, set up tents, and carry all camping equipment, foods up to the mountain, and will always make sure to set up your tent, and has delicious meals during the trekking
- Camping equipment: Tent 2 people in one tent, A warmest sleeping bag for each person, a sponge mattress for each person, a sponge pillow for each person, toilet tent, a mountain chair for each person, and table.
- Mt. Rinjani National Park Permit: One person will get one permit which is we will issued upon the advance payment made
- National Park Inbound Insurance: This regular insurance cover light accident which is evacuated with manual ways by the National Park Crew, for more conveniences, we recommended you to take the Premium Insurance that provided by the National Park or make sure you have travel insurance
- Food & beverages (B,L,D): Our team will serve your 3 times meals per day including Appetizer, Main course, Desserts, Hot and Cold Drinks within the hike
- Private Transport Services: We cover your two times private transport service all over Lombok island upon arrival and after trekking
- One time lunch on the trekking date: The trekking will be began at 14:00pm, then we cover your one time lunch at office Darleen’s Cafe & Resto
